DORO Restaurant Group has returned to Sub Edge Farm in Farmington for their annual summer farm dinner series. Three evenings, during the harvest season, we invite our guests to spend an evening in a picturesque outdoor setting, where fresh food is cooked and presented to the table just steps from where it is grown.
Artisanal Burger Company kicked off the series on August 3rd. Chef Anthony Phenis and Chef Paul McKenzie cooked up a farm fresh feast that was paired with a variety of local craft beers. The prix fixe seasonal menu, which was all locally sourced, included items such as bourbon bacon meatballs, an array of sliders, house smoked pastrami short ribs, summer squash casserole, and more! The plates were all creative and unique, and nothing could beat the scenic backdrop of the farm. The dinner featured live music and beer from New Park Brewing, New England Brewing, Beer’d Brewing Co., and Counter Weight Brewing Co.
The evening concluded with an infamous Crazy Shake, made with hand picked blueberries, lemon layer cake, and limoncello.
It was perfect evening spent with friends – we can’t wait until the next one!
Missed out on the first farm dinner? On October 5th, Zohara Mediterranean Kitchen will be returning to the farm.
